The scenery of your journey to the Spirit World varies depending on how you are raised. If you grow up in a
Buddhist tradition in Japan, the deceased often cross the Sanzu River, the river dividing this Third Dimension
World and the afterlife, to go to the Spirit World. In most cases, parents or siblings who died before you come
to the other side of the river to greet you. For a while, you spend time looking back and sharing past stories.
They also explain the Spirit World to you.
You will see your own life on a big screen. It appears like a short film. If you had been deceiving people,
thinking no one was watching, that also appears on the big screen. All the inconvenient things are openly
exposed, so some people become upset, saying, “That’s not me. It looks like me, but it’s someone else”. Of
course, if you have been kind and helped others, that also will be shown on the screen. In those scenes, others
would applaud you.
After watching yourself on the big screen, you will be asked, “How was your life?” You will look back on your
life and judge how much you have helped others. If your life had more negative than positive aspects, you would
go to Hell briefly. While some people might choose to Hell by their own free will, others may not be convinced
but go because they must. If you go to Hell willingly, you also tend to leave quickly.
